Job applications, Resumes and Candidates' personal information

On our website job seekers (Candidates) may choose to upload, or apply for jobs with, their resumes that may contain personal information. In such case all your personal information that you put in your resume may be found, accessed and viewed by the recruiters/employers who use our Website. As a Candidate you must realize that hiring recruiters or/and employers who use our website may have access to your resumes, and may choose to keep copies of your resumes for their own records outside our website. As a Candidate you must acknowledge that in such case TechieJobs and its associates cannot be liable for the safety of your personal information, and you accept all the risks related to sharing your personal information with the hiring party. If you do not feel comfortable sharing your personal information with the hiring party, please do not apply for jobs and do not upload your resume on this website.

Surveys and polls

Our website may offer users to participate in surveys and quick polls. Unless otherswise stated in the survey or quick poll, all surveys and quick polls are confidential. Some anonymous data maybe collected when users submit answers in the survey or quick poll form. We may also temporarily store your IP address and country without link to the answer(s) that you submitted. We do this for statistical and security purposes. It is a solely voluntary desire of the user to participate in surveys and quick polls.

TechieJobs will take necessary steps to protected personal data stored in our databases. Removal of Data

In the event that a User wants to remove personal data that was previously collected by TechieJobs, we will permanently delete such data. Please contact our support team directly to do so.

There are certain third-party services where all User information will be deleted instantly upon customer request while there are other third-party services where the customer information might not be deleted instantly. For example, if a customer wants to have their contact information removed from our email delivery service provider, this can be done immediately. However, in terms of billing related data, this is required by law to keep for 10 years. Credit card details are not stored with us anyway.

When personal data gets removed from our systems, the data may still be present in our backups. This is to better serve our customers in the event that someone accidentally deleted their account or for disaster recovery purposes. Backups are securely stored and isolated from any further processing. They will get fully deleted when the retention period ends (within 1 to 30 days).

Users may also delete their Accounts and associated personal data at any time by using a form when logged in. All personal information will be deleted within a short period of time after the account is deleted. Normally, it takes seconds but in some cases may take up to 48 hours.

Do Not Track Signals

Currently, TechieJobs does not respond to "do not track" signals or browser settings.
