The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce a full-time Software Developer, Sr.  position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by supporting and maintaining various reporting-based software applications and systems. This includes developing .NET web applications used in the PEO and Payroll space.

    Leads and collaborates with a team of onshore and offshore developers and testers to design, build, validate and deploy software solutionAnalyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specificationsIdentify technologies, creates POCs, and participates in the entire SDLC process to deploy software solutionsDevelops test strategies, test plans and test cases in partnership with developers and testers and participates in the validation of software solutionsWorks closely with Production Support, Infrastructure and other DEV teams to support the software delivery processActs as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting and gives direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problemsMay lead work efforts, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to subordinate staffAssures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.Participates in the updating and testing of the business continuation plan

Requirements Needed

    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.At least four (4) years of experience with .NET/ASP.NET development as well as .NET Framework web application stackA strong understanding of T-SQL, Microsoft SQL server, C#, JavaScript, MVC and RESTAbility to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts as well as communicate this information to technical and non-technical staffKnowledge of the SOLID design principles, N-tier and N-layered architecture, Git, GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, Azure services, Visual Studio and Active Directory

Knowledge and Skillset Required

    Knowledge to use several development languages to produce applications such HTML, React.js, Angular.js, .NET, C#, Vb.Net and TSQLKnowledge to a high degree of understanding in relational databases, multi-tier software architecture, use of meta data and catalogues, and web-based securityKnowledge of relational database concepts and experience with SQL ServerKnowledge of report development using Cognos, and SQL Server Reporting ServicesKnowledge of web-based report delivery and security administrationKnowledge of company services and productsKnowledge of customer service methods and proceduresSkill that demonstrates high technical prowessSkill to use sound problem solving and troubleshooting skillsSkill to use great attention to detail with a focus on software development, testing and quality assuranceSkill to use and compose clear, comprehensive, and accurate verbal and written communication and reportsSkill to establish and maintain filing systems, format, proofread, edit documents, and perform calculationsSkill to be organized, give attention to detail, and exercise follow upSkill to research and analyze data and prepare recommendationsSkill to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills. A 4-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business or equivalent plus 4 years related experience. Experience in the Payroll, Employee Benefits, HR or PEO industry and strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
