The Sr. Database developer primary role is to design stable and reliable databases, according to our company’s needs. He or She will be responsible for developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing databases to help users retrieve data effectively.
As part of our IT team, they will work closely with developers to ensure system consistency. They will also collaborate with administrators and clients to provide technical support and identify new requirements. Communication and organization skills are keys for this position, along with a problem-solution attitude.
Ultimately, they should be able to ensure our database systems run effectively and securely daily.

A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related fields3-5 years’ experience in SQL Server database design and developmentStrong knowledge of implementing BI Reporting, SSIS, Data Warehousing with SSASAnalytical and Problem-Solving skillsHands-on attitude with a can-do attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven work experience as a Database developerIn-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring)Knowledge of software development and user interface web applicationsExcellent analytical and organization skillsAn ability to understand front-end users’ requirements and a problem-solving attitudeExcellent verbal and written communication skills
