Senior Engineering Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to join our client's team and drive the technical excellence of our client projects.

The Senior Engineering Manager will lead a team of highly skilled engineers and drive the execution of our technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering process, ensuring the timely delivery of projects, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the entire engineering lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
• Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support the professional development of team members.
• Identify and address technical challenges, providing effective solutions to mitigate risks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to drive innovation within the team.
• Promote a culture of quality and accountability through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Represent the engineering team in meetings with stakeholders, clients, and executives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of engineers.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills: Experience with DevOps practices and continuous delivery pipelines. Knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, React). Familiarity with data engineering, machine learning, and AI technologies. Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
