QA Tester

Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled QA Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and debugging. You will work closely with our development team to identify issues and ensure that all aspects of the application function as intended.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking software.
• Perform manual and automated testing of software applications.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new changes.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on completeness and testability.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results and provide comprehensive reports.
• Continuously improve testing strategies and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, QTP).
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with Agile development processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Skills: Experience with performance and/or security testing. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Understanding of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
