Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to firm wide architecture standards, risk management and security policies
Identify efficiencies and ways to improve design and development processes.
Quickly grasp the business use-cases supported by current stack to ensure the transformation program is moving in the correct direction and solving the all use-cases.
Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with all businesses across Technology and among technology team members.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels.
Work effectively within collaborative team to identify and resolve issues.
Design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug and document in solving business problems for one or more business areas.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on application design development, and maintenance.
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices.
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.
Ability to absorb problems & present creative solutions within required timeframes.
Hands on experience with leveraging CI/CD to rapidly build & test application code.
In depth knowledge of design principles and patterns.
Must be able to demonstrate significant relevant work experience.
Strong work ethic, self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude.
Team player comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, unstructured environment.
Professional maturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to receive and act upon feedback.
Excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills - as well as written and verbal communication

Essential Technology Skills:

Write maintainable & testable code in Python that is consistent with cloud related architecture principles.
Build Cloud Native applications from a domain driven design and micro-services architecture perspective supporting multiple API versions.
Knowledge on cloud concepts regarding data storage and data processing.
Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using react concepts.
Collaborate to design solutions including conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Participate & effectively contribute in scrum ceremonies with the product owner and scrum team.
Defect Management (JIRA or equivalent)
Unix experience
Experience with Test driven development, Continuous Integration and Deployment practices and tools (Jenkins, Git-Stash)

Desired Technology Skills:

Experience working on NoSQL Databases such as MongoDB, Kafka and Elastic Search.
Experience in building Data Lakes using AWS and Hands-on experience in AWS Glue, AWS KMS etc.
Experience in Spark leveraging Python or in-depth experience in Java.
