Permit Specialist

Job Description

Sunpro Solar is seeking a Permit Specialist for our St. Louis Territory Office.  You will complete tasks delegated to you by and work closely with the Territory Manager to ensure that all projects are moving forward on time. You will need to be highly organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Update permit information in SalesforceSubmit and follow up on permit applicationsUpdate Territory Operations Templates with current regulations and requirementsDevelop and maintain relationships with AHJsAbility to prepare and submit all documents required for permit approvals.Ensure timely collection of supporting documents.Review install packets pre-installation.Update project management software with appropriate status.Follow all office policies and procedures.Run office errands as needed.Maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

It is not required that you have worked in the solar industry; however, previous experience in a construction or engineering company would be a huge benefit!

1+ years of hands-on permitting experience a plus.Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel).Salesforce experience is a plus.Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.Attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience operating standard office equipmentValid driver’s license and clean driving recordMust be a motivated team player with a positive attitude.Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong work ethic and grit!
