Job Description

Opening with our client for an Oracle Database Administrator.

Remote opportunity for someone located within the United States. Must be available for EST hours.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for design and/or modification of design of existing databases to solve database processing problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results
Looking for someone with the following background and experience:
 

Experience working with Oracle RDBMS running on RHEL and AIXOracle RDBMS using both ASM and filesystemsRMAN backups and recoveryOracle Enterprise Manager installation, configuration and useExperience performing data migrations using Export/ImportAutomation and/or scripting experienceStrong command of Oracle RDBMS security modelStrong understanding of Oracle RDBMS sql optimizer/engineAbility to work scheduled off hours maintenanceExperience using change management processes and toolsExperience using incident management processes and toolsStrong communication skills and experience working across multiple teams
