Data Analyst - MS Excel / SAP

Job Description

The position will be reporting to the Senior Manager in Asset Performance Engineering, Condition Monitoring & Analytics. The candidate will be responsible to help develop asset class and characteristics data for Generation assets and Catalina Water and Gas Utility assets. The candidate may also be assigned other SAP tasks such; pulling data, validation, data entry, data analysis, developing reports and other tasks as needed for other SAP projects.
The day to day responsibilities include:
• Work with Reliability Engineer and Master Data Analyst to receive direction and assignments.
• Analyze and validate large volumes of data in excel.
• Pull data dumps from SAP into excel and process to fulfil requests.
• Develop spreadsheets for all Functional Locations and Equipment with all data to be uploaded into SAP.
• Develop conversion tables that will be used for the migration.
• Ad-hoc requests to support a variety of SAP/Excel analysis as needed to support on-going projects.
