Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description

Previous experience with Enterprise Application implementation is preferred and Guidewire ClaimCenter experience is a strong plus.Familiar with the use of Messaging Architecture.Experienced with Java, JavaScript, and Microsoft .NET, HTML 5, CSS3, Bash and Windows Scripting, XML, JSON, SOAP UI, Webservices, Ant, Maven, JMS, JNDI, SMTP, SQL Programming.Knowledgeable in the use of application containers like Tomcat, WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, and JBOSS for clustering for high availability and load balancing.Proficient in Java, Java Script, jQuery, CSS, Windows and Bash scripting, SQL Queries (Inner Outer Joins, Group By, Having), Stored Procedures, Service Orientated Architectures/Web Services-SOAP/REST, Markup Languages like XML and JSON, Knowledge of Guidewire’s Gosu is required,Comfortable with Guidewire IDE and IntelliJ’s Java IDEVendor Management. Manages relationships with the vendors providing development and hosting services for CIGA utilized “Off the Shelf” package systems. These vendors may be on-shore or off-shore.

Position Education and Experience Requirements

Education: An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: At least ten years of experience in programming with Java, Web and database programing Current or previous development leadership role is a plus.
