SQL Server Database Developer With VB And Access

Job Description

** 100% remote ***  PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES RESIDING IN THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA!

Seasoned contract Database Developer needed to work with key stakeholders and contributors to develop and document changes to a client database, which is comprised of a SQL Server database and MS Access front-end application. 

CONTRACT PERIOD:   12 months 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and plan scope of work associated with understanding, developing and documenting changes to database applications.Develop and implement the required database changes, including but not limited to data loads, batch jobs, reporting, and data validations.Test changes, including performance testing.Develop a project schedule for the total scope of work.Communicate project information, issues, or status to the Agency through various methods including written reports and presentations.Ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner.In performing these responsibilities, the developer is expected to apply application programming best practices.

Max Pay $46/hr W2.

REQUIRED

5 years in-depth analytical skills, ability to gather requirements, and the ability to develop and configure database applications and tools.5 years with relational database systems, MS Access, and SQL Server databases.5 years application programming, database development, system design, and data exchanges in client-server environments.5 years Microsoft Visual Basic, creating database queries, analyzing technical solutions, and data modeling.5 years using best practices for secure applications development.3 years Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies, tools, and techniques.Establish and maintain effective, positive, and productive working relationships with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers.

PREFERRED

3 years with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and PHP.

 

Clean background and drug test are required for this client.
