One of Medix's top ranked clients is a major manufacturing service provider across the country. They are looking to add a Cloud Microservices Developer to their team. This individual will join their AWS environment providing lead support.

This opportunity includes remote work flexibility, tuition reimbursement, medical, dental, visual insurance, and PTO plans.

THE DAY TO RAY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Working in a highly collaborative Agile Methodology environment, as part of a feature teamDeveloping new features from the product backlog in 2-3 week sprint cycles Redesigning legacy monolithic applications, and developing in a new Microservices framework, optimizing applications for better performance in a hosted cloud environment Developing the full-stack of applications using microservices frameworks like .Net CORE & Blazer, or more open-source frameworks like MEAN/MERN.Developing a robust UI using responsive, single page application frameworks such as Angular, React and/or Vue for scalability and performance on the front-end.Working with Git, or similar code repository tools to track all changes in code, and collaborate with team members Working in a Test-driven environment, using unit testing tools like nUnit and Selenium to ensure seamless testing and integration of code.Working in a Cloud Dev/Ops and CICD environment, leveraging containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.Developing REST APIs to connect microservices to database, UI Presentation layer, and each other.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Required Bachelor Degree (4-year College Degree)Minimum 5-7+ years of professional experienceMust have prior Agile experienceMust have strong experience developing in Microservices Framework, such as .Net Core or Express.JsMust have strong experience developing front-end Single Page Applications (Angular, Vue, React, etc)Must have experience working in a Cloud Dev/Ops environment - Azure or AWSMust have strong experience with developing and deploying REST APISMust have experience using a code repository for version control - Git, GitHub, TFS, etc.Must have worked with a Continuous Integration server: Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCIMust have experience working with containerization tools - Docker, Kubernetes.
