Job Description:

Bachelor's Degree required in either Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field. Must have a strong technical background with at least 8 years of direct work-related IT architecture experience creating high level design and solution architectures.Proven experience with enterprise application integration and cloud solutions. Must have experience in architecting and hosting applications on AWS. Must be able to demonstrate both breadth and depth of understanding of architectures such as DDD, SOA, microservices, client-server, and MVC.Strong understanding of modern CI/CD practices, including containerization and other forms of virtualization. Must have strong knowledge of container based application architecture using Docker and Kubernetes. Strong database design skills both relational and non-relational.Understanding of Java application stacks and MEAN stackHands-on experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe development, experience in transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile methodologies is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary as a solution architect.Demonstrated ability to lead large scale software projects to successful completion on time and on budget.Able to work and communicate effectively with other talented IT professionals, execute independently, and handle multiple concurrent projects.Technical certifications emphasising Architect skill set and advanced degrees are a plus.Excellent client management skills: ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, especially at a level that Director and C-Level executives can understand. Must be able to adapt to various client environments.
