Software Engineer Intern

Job Description

UMBA is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in our San Franciso office. This person is responsible for the end-to-end planning, building, and deploying of our software systems. He/she will be able to drive the programming of well-constructed, testable code.

Building a software platform that is reliable, scales, and achieves excellent uptime while serving emerging markets with immature tech stacks is a serious technical challenge. As Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly with our Data Science, Product, and Management teams, while collaborating with a small group of engineers to deliver features that improve our customer’s experiences and drive business growth.

The main tools you will be working with are:

Craft, code, test and launch new featuresParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms, and productsWork with the core engineering team on a daily basisDive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
