CNC Programmer

Job Description

Under broad direction, utilizes knowledge of advanced multi-axis state of the art CAD/CAM capabilities and software to create complex numerically controlled programs to drive numerically controlled production machines. Independently performs assignments with instructions as to the general results expected. May train and direct the activities of lower level programmers as required. Creates complex family part master programs and recall modules for standardization of various processes. Makes recommendations in manufacturing to support the timely and cost efficient processing of company products. Expertise in creating complex turning and 5 axis milling programs of intricate 3 dimensional parts is required. Skills typically acquired through 3 TO 5  years of related NC Programming experience.
