Data Analyst - Linguistics

The Data Analyst will be working as part of a dynamic team and will play a critical role in a best in class, Fortune Top 20 company.

Overview

Annotate text data and oversee the quality of linguistic annotation.Analyze annotated data and provide feedback to other annotators.Provide feedback to Language Engineers and Scientists on tool improvements and annotation processes.Contribute to the improvement of annotation guidelines.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Communications, or other language or data-related disciplines.Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, French, and German.Experience with data annotation, linguistic annotation and other forms of data markup. Ability to strictly adhere to annotation guidelines.Very detail-oriented: ability to identify language ambiguity and annotation inaccuracies in language data.
