The Marketing Team

The Ruggable Marketing Team is collaborative and dynamic with clear growth targets in mind. Working closely with the Design, Operations, and Executive teams, the team aims to exceed revenue targets, elevate our brand status, and broaden our customer appeal. We learn fast to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.

Job Summary

As a Manager of Marketing Data Engineering, you will lead a team whose goal is to build and maintain foundational data infrastructure essential to driving Ruggable’s revenue growth and accelerating user acquisition. You will work closely with marketing leadership, data analysts, data scientists, and Ops Tech engineering teams to build best-in-class data pipelines and processes that stitch together complex sets of data stores and drive actionable insights.


What You’ll Do

    Bridge gap between business requirements and ETL logic by troubleshooting data discrepancies and implementing scalable solutionsDesign, build and maintain critical data pipelines to ensure highly accurate and reliable business reportingSuccessful track record of monitoring daily execution, diagnosing and logging issues, and fixing business-critical pipelines to ensure SLAs are met with internal stakeholdersMake data model and ETL code improvements to automate pipeline efficiency and data qualityOwn data import/export pipelines and incorporate into existing workflows to enable reporting and optimization effortsContribute to marketing data insights strategy and development


What You’ll Need to Have

    3-5 years experience in a data engineering / BI role supporting Marketing or Sales organizations (e-commerce, digital, tech is a plus)Deep Amazon Redshift expertise mandatoryExperience managing & developing teams (Jira/Confluence mandatory)Experience with Python, SQL, & version control (git) Experience with ETL scheduling technologies with dependency checking, such as Airflow, as well as star schema design and dimensional data modelingStrong business intuition and ability to understand complex business systems, data architecture, and software design patternsExcellent communication skills, particularly when explaining technical matters to less technical co-workers
