Job Description

Advanced Systems Design is seeking an CRM Developer for our client located in Montgomery, AL. This individual be responsible for Microsoft Dynamics design, development, implementation and deployment experience in delivering enterprise level solutions, as well as the ability to develop software based on the description of business logic for new and existing applications.

Job Description

    Participates in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. Will develop, maintain, support, and improve the organization’s mission-critical CRM and Business Intelligence applications. Must apply proven communications, problem-solving, and technical skills to assist the development team on issues related to design, development, and support of business-critical information and software systems.Develop, configure, and support custom work on top of a CRM based applicationDevelop on MS Dynamics CRM 2013 on premise with growth to Dynamics 365Create and modify custom Forms/Entities, web resources, plug-ins, workflows, dialogs, reportsCreate technical specifications and unit test plans based on mockupsDeploy fully functional components/forms/reports/applicationsContribute to the design, development, and installation of application enhancements and    upgrades.Maintain systems by debugging and correcting software defectsWork with company’s vendors and internal staff for prompt resolution of any problems or emergenciesWork closely with other staff, such as project managers, database admins, infrastructure admins, developers, systems analysts, and business analystsSSIS (nice to have)Power BI Dashboards (nice to have)Design, develop, test and implement reports as necessary to fulfill business requirementsBuild appropriate and useful reporting deliverables in accordance with due dates and project requirementsAbility to construct reusable reports based on common reporting requests using available toolsCreate and modify reports and report templates using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Advanced understanding of relational databases, (MS SQL, SSRS) and advanced querying techniques o Research required data and data relationships o Extract, filter, and aggregate data through logical queries and programmingDevelop MS-SQL objects (tables, stored procedures, functions, views, etc.)Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvementsCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff and outside vendorsSupport user testing, documentation, and roll-out of reports and end-user reporting toolsTroubleshoot issues reported by users to correct report defects / anomaliesMaintain a high level of confidentiality and use discretion when neededSolve problems and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentTake direction, accept constructive criticism, and to be diplomatic when reviewing work of othersAbility to initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers and supervisors, customers/clients, and members of the public

Skills Required

    Strong knowledge of and experience with SSRS reporting tools and databases specifically MS SQL server required, knowledge of MS Office, Excel and AccessAdept at queries, report writing and presenting findingsEffective business writing and composition skills with good command of the English language.Ability to independently plan, organize, and complete a variety of projects within established standards, objectives and time framesAbility to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlinesMust be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management skillsMinimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Report Server Developer using SSRS reporting toolsExcellent understanding of T-SQL programmingExpert knowledge designing and deploying SSRS Reports in Visual Studio

Skills Preferred

    Experience in .Net Programming (C# and/or VB.net)Experience in Microsoft CRM 2013Experience with Microsoft Power BI

Experience Required

    3+ years developing in MS CRM 2013/2015/2016/D365

Education Required

    Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information management, statistics or other quantitative field, or three years of experience, or equivalency in terms of education, training, and experience
