Title: Website Programmer Analyst (Remote)
Pay Rate: $45/hr - $50/hr
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
Programmer Analyst II is responsible for the preparation of materials to be placed on clients's Web sites. The PA II will convert and create files for the Internet based on original materials, as well as materials from other media, including print. Working with the guidance of the CMO and PA III the PA II will execute changes to the website.
The PA II works closely with Marketing staff to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date, and the presentation of such material matches approved layouts. He/she will program and generate web pages customized for academic and administrative courses, programs, and activities. He/she will employ experience gained from a background in web page production including programming in HTML, CSS and JavaScript; and other web technologies, layout of web pages and email. 

Responsibilities:

    Program customized web pages & promotional email for courses, programs, and activities based on comps/layouts provided by designers.Work closely with PA III and other marketing staff on content, technical updates and enhancements for the UNEX institutional website, departmental subsites and landing pages.Update general administrative information for the website on a quarterly basis.Provide appropriate programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.).Adhere to standard web security best practices.Program, update and maintain blog sites (WordPress) as needed.Must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript/jQuery and Bootstrap.Maintain/update current website encryption certificates (SSL/TLS).Familiarity with some backend programming languages (i.e. PHP, Java, etc.).Investigate, evaluate and share information regarding new internet technologies.

Requirements:

    Experience with front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavascriptExperience configuring and programming in PHP, YAML especially in a Drupal contextExperience with back-end web services, SOAP, REST, XMLExperience working in agile environmentExperience managing git repositoriesExperience with Salesforce, Marketo, Google Analytics, integration technologies very helpfulSQL, .NET, C# knowledge helpful
