Academic Partnerships is hiring a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Student Experience (SE)Team in downtown Dallas.
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer will serve as a subject matter expert on SFMC to support key team initiatives. The ideal candidate must be well-versed with all of SFMC modules and leverage their strategic design and development background to enhance student experience.
This position is 100% remote.
Partner with the Email Specialist to efficiently and effectively, build, QA and deploy personalized/customized email assets to be leveraged in both manual and automated emails for various departmentsHands-on problem solver and collaborator participating in the strategic design and development initiatives within our SFMC instance with the SE Sr. Director, Business Technology, and Analytics.Serve as the SE team's Power-user of SFMC modules including Business Unit and Email Account Set Up with SE Email Specialist, Business Technology and Digital Marketing Lead Generation.Design, build and trouble shoot the development of data extensions, suppression lists, master suppression lists, attribute groups, etc.Analyze opportunities to innovate dynamic content and automation efforts to support email marketing and Journey Manager’s efforts to build scalable emails and journeys.Train and coach internal teams on how to best leverage various SFMC modules.Stay current with the rapidly developing Salesforce ecosystem. Prototype and integrate new SFMC releases to identify additional opportunities to enhance the Student Experience.Develop and maintain Cloud Pages to support Email and Journey efforts e.g., Email Preferences (B2B/B2C), Surveys, Data Collection, etc.Liaise with cross-functional teams including Business Technology, Analytics, UX/Web Operations, Digital Marketing and Vertical Marketing.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field1+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud hands-on experience required (Developer required with Administrator, Consultant, or Architect certification desired)3+ years experience hands-on with email marketing best practices including list segmentation, A/B testing, build, QA, deployment and reporting2+ years experience hands-on coding HTML preferred1+ years AMPScript and SQL experience requiredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize workloadExceptional communication skills (written, verbal and visual)Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast paced environmentAbility to prioritize, track and manage multiple projects with minimal oversightAbility to actively participate and lead (as needed) technical discussions
