HARDWARE ENGINEER II -
Good understanding of AC and DC Circuits and principles
Create engineering documentation including schematics, specifications, drawings, bill of materials, FMEA, test plans and reports
B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering. A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of experience in electronic hardware development with an emphasis on analog and digital design.
Hands-on design experience in analog and digital electronics with emphasis on AC/DC circuits, power supplies, microprocessors.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills with core engineering principles, fundamental circuit design and analytical techniques.
Possess lab bench and system level integrations/debug/troubleshooting experience.
Experience with oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter, spectrum analyzer, etc.
Experience with schematic capture tools (ORCAD, Altium, PADS, CADENCE and PCB layout tools PADS, ALTIUM preferred.
Hands-on experience of EMC/EMI shielding, and grounding principal and design.
Experience/knowledge of manufacturing requirements of products and apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design Verification (DV) and assembly concepts.
Strong knowledge in product safety and regulatory agency test requirements (UL, FCC, CE, RoHS, etc.).
Should possess general knowledge of scripting languages (C#, .NET, JAVA, HTML, etc.).
Should possess strong organization and time management skills, close attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Should work independently as well as mentor/train/supervise junior technicians and interns.
Will possess a willingness to travel (<10%)
