Our Client, a world-leading Environmental Services Corporation, has an Immediate Opportunity for an experienced Content Analyst with Copywriter expertise to join their team in Houston, TX on a long term contract basis. Seeking experience in working within the confines of various CMS platforms, a creative and collaborative professional holding a key role in defining, building, launching and delivering an exceptional online customer facing product using Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

• Work in a collaborative and highly motivated environment to ensure alignment and growth
• Oversee the content presented on the web, responsible for creating, editing, posting, updating, and cleaning up outdated content – keeping information displayed on the site fresh, informative and appealing to our customers
• Deliver exceptional and personalized digital experiences through relevant content creation and deployment on our web properties
• Apply technical, editorial, and creative storytelling expertise throughout all stages of content creation aligning with brand messaging and direction
• Identify new content opportunities, explore ways to repurpose existing content throughout the site, monitor website traffic, respond to website feedback and implement changes to the site’s layout and content based on website analytics and usability testing
• Align with strategic agency to ensure content strategy supports the overarching SEO and digital acquisition strategy, considering the customer journey from acquisition to retention
• Implement content for web and mobile

Must have copywriter experience

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or related field and 5+ years’ experience in digital content development,

• Experience and knowledge of digital content best practices across various platforms and media
• Excellent grammar, writing, copy-editing and communication skills, including the ability to adapt writing style to appeal to different audiences and adhere to established brand voices
• Familiarity with SEO and analytics reporting tools to aid in content strategy and creation
• Basic HTML coding ability and understanding of WordPress and other (CMS) platforms
• Strong project management skills

• Derive a fact-based perspective using primary and secondary research

• Operations / business / financial knowledge: connecting business purpose to customer
• Digital / web experience: Track record of designing and deploying digital/web experiences is preferred, but not required. The successful candidate will have access to internal and external digital expertise as appropriate, and will need to draw on such expertise to be successful
• Impact-orientation: Strong focus on thoughtful maximization of value creation and capture
